As long as I can remember, I’ve always been completely passionate about photography - to the point where while hanging out with friends and family, they automatically ask where my camera is if they don’t see it slung around my shoulder with my signature 1970′s orange shag carpet camera strap.

I started my wedding and portrait photography business in 2006 after graduating, and haven’t had a single doubt about it since.  It is a lot more work and sweat and tears than I originally anticipated, but I just love every new exciting adventure that comes with a photo session or wedding.   I chose to be a wedding photographer because of my love of happiness, my love of faces, and my love of details.  The smiles, dresses, shoes, emotions, rings, tears, colors – it’s all so amazing and I love every minute of a wedding!  I love photographing portraits for the eyes; it’s usually the very first thing I notice about a person.  My goal of photographing people is to bring out the person’s personality and soul through their eyes and make you want to learn their story.
