Jennifer and Keith’s Wedding!

These two make such a fantastic couple!  And for two people who don’t like to have their photographs made, they sure are photogenic!  I photographed their engagement session and her bridal portraits and their wedding, so I’m sure the image of me with my camera in front of my face is burned into their brains.  ;)  Oh, and I just love the place they got married at – The Dominion House in Guthrie!  It used to be an orphan asylum and so it’s quite majestic and quirky but has a slight eerie feeling to it.  So, what happens when you put two photogenic people inside of a photogenic building?  One happy photographer!

“All photographs are there to remind us of what we forget.  In this – as in other ways – they are the opposite of paintings.  Paintings record what the painter remembers.  Because each one of us forgets different things, a photo more than a painting may change its meaning according to who is looking at it.”                     -John Berger

Kelli & Austin with Keelan on the way!

This is the maternity session for Kelli and Austin’s first baby.  We had lots of fun, and I love how excited they are!  Only a little less than a month until her due date!!

I love the ultrasound too. I can’t wait to see the next set of pictures.

Alisha and Marshall’s Wedding!

I know I say all of my wedding couples rock, but these guys seriously do!  :)  Their wedding party also rocked, and I think this was the first time I got an awesome sincere smile from each of the groomsmen in all the photos they were in!  (It is often rare!)  This church was absolutely the most fabulous church I have photographed a wedding in.  I just adored it.  Congrats to Alisha and Marshall!!  :)

I can’t pick my favorite picture out of these – I love all of them. The venue is gorgeous and the colors are great.

Jennifer!

Even though this lady here does not like her photograph taken in the least, she is SO photogenic!  That’s right, Jennifer, I’m letting the world know your secret!  ;)  I loved how all the photos came out from her bridal session and it was mighty hard to pick out my favorite five to post on here.

Ashley and Jessie’s Wedding!

Many many congrats to these two!!  It was a very beautiful wedding and I had a wonderful time getting to know them and photographing them!  But, I have to say (and I know they would totally disagree) the best part of the day was at the end when everyone threw birdseed.  Now, normally when you think of that, you think, “Awww, that’s sweet.”  But everyone at this particular wedding took the opportunity to ferociously release every single ounce of birdseed imaginable for like ten straight minutes!  It was so hilarious; I think I was the only person there that didn’t get completely pelted with birdseed.    Everyone threw it at everyone else, and they even chased down Ashley and Jessie to continue the attack!
